Venturi masks are often used in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD）. In patients with COPD, it is important not to over oxygenate the patients. The mask provides oxygen at a flow rate of 1–10 LPM. Accurate oxygen delivery is achieved by changing FiO2 (24–50%) with different size ports. Also known as air entrainment mask, it can provide total inspiratory flow at a specified FiO2.

GREEN = 8L/min = 35% O2

PINK = 8L/min = 40% O2

ORANGE = 10L/min = 50% O2

RED = 15L/min = 60% O2
